100 Years of Legendary Cattle
Born of the vision of Les Staudenmeyer, preserved by family. We’ve built on the legacy, and we’re not finished yet.
Centennial Livestock is a family owned and operated business of just over 100 years. The Staudenmeyer and Tamcke families work to preserve their ranching lifestyle and livelihood for the future.
Centennial Livestock is a diversified operation raising Quality Black Angus Cattle and Registered Horse, along with recreational activities, which include hunting & fishing. Ask us about our pitch fork fondues!
Centennial's Offerings Include:

Our ranch sits on a piece of prime territory in the majestic Horse Prairie Valley near Dillon.
We offer Fly Fishing on Horse Prairie Creek that passes through the ranch. Contact Debbie Tamcke 406-925-0213 for more information.
We’re partnered with Montana Mountain West Outfitters, who offer fully guided hunting trips on the property. Click here to get in touch with them.

Over the span of 100 years, we’ve prided ourselves in producing one of the most reputable commercial cow calf herds in the country. The ranch has been a closed herd for over 30 years, the cattle are 3rd party verified and GAP 4 approved.
We have achieved this feat through the use of reputable breeders
such as Vermilion Ranch, Sitz Angus Ranch and others with their top-tier genetics.
Contact us below to learn more about our current herd.

A number of horses hailing from our ranch have become well known. “Tonto’s Missin’ Cash” is one shown above.
“PG Dun Gun” is another well-known, and has sired many horses at Centennial Livestock.
For example, “Roan Texas” a qualifier in the AQHA World Championship Show, placed top 10 in calf roping.

✨ Happy FFFF (Farm Fresh First Friday)! Today we are making Bourbon Chicken Pineapple Boats🍍colorful, flavorful, and perfect for sharing!
Directions:
Cut 2 pineapples in half lengthwise and scoop out the flesh to make 4 pineapple boats. Chop the removed pineapple and combine with cilantro, Roma tomatoes, mangoes, and red onion. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the mixture, season with salt and pepper, and set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, water, sesame oil, brown sugar, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, cornstarch, and bourbon. Heat canola oil in a large pan over medium heat, add cubed chicken thighs, and cook until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F. Stir in the bourbon sauce and simmer until the sauce thickens. Meanwhile, cook rice according to package directions.
To assemble, fill each pineapple boat with rice and bourbon chicken. Top with the fresh pineapple-mango salsa, sesame seeds, and green onions.
✨Enjoy! ... See MoreSee Less
